Guarantee Against Loss

Guarantees Against Loss (GAL) funding is provided by the Trust to support events and festivals to enable organisations to have some security in meeting the costs of their events. The GAL is approved in advance of the event, with the applying group taking up the GAL if/when they have established their loss. The maximum GAL for any event or festival is currently $15,000.

The application process and form for a GAL is the same as that for a grant (see grants policy) and the normal criteria that would apply to a grant, apply to a GAL application.
