BayTrust is the name of The Bay of Plenty Community Trust, one of twelve Community Trusts in New Zealand. We make grants and loans to community groups serving the Bay, in order to help achieve our mission to “effectively build, strengthen and enhance present and future BOP Communities”.
In the year to March 2012 the Trust paid out grants totalling over $2.12m to groups serving Bay of Plenty Communities.
Trustees will consider applications for grants and loans for organisations which provide services or activities that fit within our five strategic outcome areas and are providing benefits to one or more Bay of Plenty Communities.
The Trust is a Registered Financial Services Provider, Registration No: FSP174284.
The Trust will consider applications from organisations for operating costs and projects which significantly help build, strengthen or enhance Bay of Plenty Communities, and fit within one or more of our five strategic outcomes areas.

The Trust operates and funds the Dillon Scholarship which provides financial assistance to people who have significant disabilities and who will be undertaking tertiary education.
