Volunteer Hop launches across the Western Bay

A brand-new community event is hopping into Te Puke, Katikati, and WaihīBeach, inviting locals of all ages to explore volunteering in a fun, feel-goodway. Walk, bike, or drive between nearby locations, meet volunteer groups inaction, collect stamps along the way, and see the impactful work happening inyour community, with free ice cream for participants!
The Volunteer Hop is a free, self-guided challenge designed to be easy,local, and welcoming. Each event starts at a central hub, whereparticipants receive a map and challenge card before heading off to explore.Complete the hop and go in the draw to win other fantastic prizes while soakingup the buzz of your neighbourhood.

Where to join in on the fun:
● Te Puke – 21 February: Te Puke War Memorial Hall, 130 Jellicoe St.
● Katikati – 28 February: Pātuki Manawa (Katikati Library Digital Hub), 21 Main Rd.
● Waihī Beach – 8 March: Waihī Beach CommunityCentre, 106 Beach Rd.
Open to all ages andbackgrounds, each Volunteer Hop runs from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
